Art Contest: Seeing Beyond Limitations Through Colors, Shapes and Lines
This exciting visual art contest was sponsored by the Psi Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, serving Clayton-Henry counties through a grant from the Arts Clayton Grassroots Arts Program. The contest was open to high school seniors currently attending a Henry county high school. All entries were displayed at the Ole Stockbridge Days Arts and Crafts Festival on May 9, 2009. During the festival two workshops (ART 101 and Photography 101) were conducted by Curtis Halyard, a local artist, and Jerek James, a local photographer.
