President’s Message

Paula

It is my honor and privilege to serve as the fourth President of Psi Alpha Omega Chapter. Represented by 150 diverse, talented and distinguished women, we are steadfast in our belief that sisterhood, scholarship and service are primary in our commitment to Clayton and Henry counties. From school collaborations to political forms; voter registration to homeownership seminars and nursing home activities for residents, the women of Psi Alpha Omega Chapter gladly serve in the Southern Crescent area of Metropolitan Atlanta.

While honoring the 31 members who chartered Psi Alpha Omega chapter on December 10, 2005, we vow to remember that Sisterhood is Key as we Launch PAO into a New Decade of Service Today, Tomorrow, and Beyond. Chapter members are proud of our legacy and continue to strengthen our commitment to be a catalyst of education, change and support. As we build on our 10 years of service, we elect to expand our community outreach programs in Clayton and Henry counties while developing more partnerships to further our mission to create a healthy, safe and educated community by addressing the following International Program Initiatives:

Educational Enrichment

Health Promotion

Family strengthening

Environmental Ownership

Global Impact

Psi Alpha Omega Chapter is excited to join the 992 chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® as we expand these initiatives through International Community Impact Days and our Signature enrichment program ASCENDTM. I hope that this and future visits to our website will show you how committed we are to serving our community. You will find more information on these programs by following the links on our site, and by liking our Chapter Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Your support is essential to the success of our ongoing efforts to provide service to our community. Please return often in order to keep abreast of our extraordinary service projects and fundraising events as we continue to provide “Service to All Mankind.”

With a Fellowship Sincere and Rare,

Dr. Paula Booker Baker
President 2016-2017
